The Flatiron is an Art Deco–inspired bar located on the corner of Birkegade and Egegade in the heart of Nørrebro.

The venue is divided into two separate bars with individual entrances, allowing you to rent one side or both, with internal access between them if booked together.

Enter The Speakeasy from Egegade or The Flatiron from Birkegade.

Each section accommodates up to 75 guests, giving a total capacity of 150 when combined. For the best experience, we recommend around 50 guests per side to ensure a comfortable atmosphere.

When you rent The Flatiron or The Speakeasy, you have the bar exclusively to yourselves for the entire evening.

Drinks

All drinks are served at the bar, with a wide selection of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine at fair prices.

Decortaion: You are welcome to decorate the venue, but the use of tape, adhesive putty, pins on wallpaper, or anything that may damage the interior is not permitted.

Any damage will be charged for repair. Confetti, streamers, and similar items are not allowed.

Access to the venue: You will have access to the venue 30 minutes before your booking starts, and last call at the bar is 30 minutes before the booking ends.

Food: You are welcome to bring your own food and/or snacks. Please note that we do not have a kitchen, refrigeration, or oven available, so everything must be brought ready to serve.

We also do not provide tableware, so plates, cutlery, etc. must be brought by you.

Music: The Flatiron is equipped with a sound system with a built-in limiter. This means music can be played at background level, but not at full nightclub volume.

Out of consideration for our neighbors, you must use The Flatiron’s sound system and follow the bartender’s instructions. You can use our tablet with Spotify access, or connect your own device via mini jack.

Booking Confirmation and Payment: Your event is only confirmed once the full rental fee has been paid. Payment details will be sent along with the booking confirmation.

Drinks are settled on the evening. The Flatiron is cash-free, and payment at the bar can only be made by card.
