About Støvlen (The Basement):

Støvlen is part of RUST, a legendary live music venue, nightclub, and event space on Nørrebro since 1990.

Located in the basement, Støvlen features a DJ booth and dance floor, making it ideal for energetic private events.

Access is through RUST’s main entrance, continuing past the ticket check and cloakroom. At the end of the hallway, turn left to head downstairs to Støvlen.

When renting Støvlen, you also have free access to RUST Nightclub, open every Friday and Saturday from 23.00 – 04.00.

When you rent Støvlen, you have the venue exclusively to yourselves for the entire evening.

Drinks

All drinks are purchased at the bar, where you’ll find a wide selection of cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, and wine at fair prices.

Decoration: You are welcome to decorate the venue, but the use of tape, adhesive putty, pins on wallpaper, or anything that may damage the interior is not permitted. Any damage will be charged for repair.

Confetti, streamers, and similar items are not allowed.

Access to the Venue: You have access to the venue 30 minutes before your booking starts, and last call at the bar is 30 minutes before the booking ends.

Food: You are welcome to bring your own food and/or snacks. Please note that we do not have a kitchen, refrigeration, or oven available, so everything must be brought ready to serve.

Access to Rust and Støvlen: As multiple events take place in the building, ticketing is required to ensure that other guests do not enter your private event. After your booking is confirmed, you will receive a ticket link to share with your guests, and each guest must download a ticket.

Entry is granted upon presentation of the ticket at RUST’s main entrance. The ticket includes free cloakroom access and a wristband providing access to both Støvlen and the Nightclub.

Music: Støvlen features a DJ booth that can be used during your event.

You can also play a playlist. Your own device can be connected via mini jack, or you can use our tablet with Spotify access.

Booking Confirmation and Payment: Your event is only confirmed once the full rental fee has been paid. Payment details will be sent with the booking confirmation.

Drinks are settled on the evening. Støvlen and RUST are cash-free, and payment at the bar can only be made by card.

Safer Space: To ensure a safe and welcoming nightlife environment, RUST – including Støvlen – operates under a Safer Space policy that all guests are expected to follow when entering the venue.

We have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, violence, or any form of discrimination – whether physical or psychological. We strive for a nightlife built on equality, diversity, and mutual respect.

Starting before 23.00: As concerts take place upstairs every Friday and Saturday, music must be kept at a low level until 23.00 if you wish to start earlier on these days.
